Completed and Proposed Regional Geochemical Evaluations:
"Texas Shelf, GOM"
- FIS data from 179 wells define areas of gas, condensate and oil prospectivity, reveal indications of deeper potential below shallow, dry holes and outline 39 specific oil and gas leads.
Status: Complete
"Mid-Norway"
- FIS, microthermometric, GC, GOI and clastic petrography data from 25 wells define petroleum migration paths, charge, paleocharge, timing and reservoir quality issues within key wells associated with 16th-round license blocks.
Status: Complete
"East Coast Canada"
- FIS, microthermometric and clastic petrography data from 9 wells in the Carson-Bonnition and South Whale basins evaluate petroleum distribution, type (oil vs. gas), API gravity, and reservoir quality in representative wells from blocks offered in the December 2000 license round.
Status: Complete
"Western Canada"
- FIS and petrography data from 35 key wells evaluate petroleum charge, H2S trends, seal effectiveness and reservoir quality in deep, Devonian formations within the Alberta portion of the WCSB.
Status: Proposed
"Proposed Study"
- This page is continually updated as new studies are proposed and/or completed. If you would like to propose a new Multi-Client Geochemical Evaluation, please review the "Overview of Regional Studies" document and then contact FIT directly.
