Standard petrographic microscope equipt with USGS-type Gas-Flow heating/freezing stage allows highly accurate measurement of the various phase transitions observable within fluid inclusions that are used to constrain pressure-temperature-timing relationships of inclusion formation and the API gravities of oils contained within them.
